Founded in 2021 in Cairo, Cyprometal Industries is Egypt's first company to refine and produce zine from both primary and secondary sources. Backed by a $200 million investment, we launch operations in June 2025 with an initial 50,000-tonne annual capacity of Special High Grade (SHG) zinc, doubling in the next phase.

Our state-of the art hybrid system combines pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical processes, treating diverse raw materials while ensuring zero dust, minimal emissions, and a closed-loop, zero-waste operation.

Cyprometal supplies key sectors- construction, automotive, aerospace, energy, and battery manufacturing-meeting local demand and exporting LME-grade zinc globally.

With a roadmap to expand into copper, lead, and rare earth elements, we're building Egypt's industrial strength while aligning with international sustainability standards.
