Since its launch in 2008, Industrial Development Group (IDG) has grown into a leading industrial developer in Egypt that owns, builds, and manages fully integrated smart industrial parks.

Capitalizing on the long-standing success of its parent company – construction heavyweight Samcrete –, IDG launched e2 October, one of Egypt’s fully integrated industrial parks, which today is home to a diverse array of top-tier local and multinational companies and SMEs. In 2018, IDG broke ground on East Port Said Industrial Zone for investors planning to enter or expand across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

In 2020,the company launched its third park, e2 Alamein, which is set to become the first eco-sustainable industrial park in Egypt.
